ELAC (English Learner Advisory Committee)

The English Learners Advisory Council (ELAC) serves the purpose of determining how to best allocate school funds to support our English Learner (EL) students. PowerPoint presentations relating to the composition of ELAC, the language census, and requirements relating to reclassification are available on this page.

ELAC is a committee comprised of parents, staff, and community members specifically designated to advise school officials on English Learners program services.

There are many benefits of parent membership including: 

• Involvement in decision-making of EL program
• Deeper understanding of reclassification process
• Developing relationships with teachers and administration
