Class of 2022 Counselor (Last Names A-L)

It has been my pleasure and honor to be the counselor for the Class of 2022 for students with the last names A-L. I have been thrilled to be part of their growth and journey while at Birmingham these last three years. What I have learned about my students is that they are some of the sweetest, brightest, and most resilient students I've ever worked with. There is nothing that can hold them from being successful so long as they have a growth mindset, take action, and ask for help along the way when they need it. Go Patriots!!!

My Story:
I am proud to say that I was born and raised in the San Fernando Valley and a first-generation college graduate! My parents were both immigrants and encouraged me to focus on my education as a pathway to success. Through a lot of hard work and sacrifice, I was accepted to Loyola Marymount University (LMU) go lions!! It was there that I earned 2 Bachelor's (BA's) degrees in Psychology and Spanish. Shortly after, I continued my education at LMU and pursued my Masters (MA) degree in Counseling along with a Pupil Personnel Services Credential (PPS). I am fortunate to be able to do something I absolutely love! This is my 15th year as a high school counselor and I feel blessed to work in a community I absolutely love!

Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns. I am available through phone, email and calendly where you can schedule a virtual meeting with me on zoom! *Hablo Espanol
