Welcome, Patriots, to our Scholarships page! Here you will find local, state, and national scholarships to help you pay for college. We understand that searching and applying for scholarships can be a daunting experience.  Therefore, we are providing you with resources and guides to help you through this process. Remember you can also come to the College Center located in the library to speak with Mrs. Kronstadt or Ms. Cifuentes for further assistance.

As with all information found online, please be cautious about where you send personal information.  The sites listed above are generally reliable, providing legitimate information, but not always.  If it sounds too easy, it is probably not legitimate.

Golden Door Scholarship Oct 24 (50) $40,000
  • Must be a 12th grader.
  • Must be DACA/Dreamer/Undocumented student planning to attend a partnered school - see application for school names. 
  • Must submit an essay - please see application for prompt.
  • The applicant will need to create a profile prior to completing the application. 
  • Strong preference will be given to those who plan to pursue a major in Engineering, Computer Science, Technology, or math.

William L. Harry, Don L. Lee Scholarship Apr 15 (4) $1,000
  • Applicant must be a 12th grader.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.0 and have successfully completed the required credits for graduation.
  • An essay of no more than two single-spaced typed pages. (Please see application for prompt)
  • 2 Letters of Recommendation
  • Submit official HS transcripts.
  • Have been accepted and be enrolled at a 2-year or 4-year college or university in a program focusing on one of the following science fields: fisheries, natural resources, environmental sciences, forest resources, oceanography, or a related field.
  • Complete and submit the SPFF Foundation Scholarship application and all required supporting documents by the deadline.

Plaza Travel Scholarship May 6th $2,500
  •  Applicant must be a 12th grader.
  • Applicant must be enrolled in an accredited 4-yr university to be attended in the Fall of 2019. 
  • Applicant need not demonstrate a financial need. 
Completed Applications Include: 
  • Student Profile Form (see page 2 of the application.)
  • Copy of official High School transcript.
  • 2 Letters of Recommendations.
  • Select one prompt and write a 500-750 word essay, typed and double-spaced.
