Mr. Suffolk received his Bachelor of Music at CSUN in 1998 and received his single subject music teaching credential CLAD emphasis in 2001. His expanded choir program at Birmingham has won numerous Excellent/Superior awards and Silver/Gold awards at various local and national choral festivals. The Chamber Singers performed for Stephen Sondheim's 75th birthday gala at the Hollywood Bowl and they have performed at the Walt Disney Concert Hall for the Los Angeles Master Chorale High School Choir Festival for the last 10 years. 

Mr. Suffolk's performing career includes performing in many musicals, performing with the Oaks Chorale, performing in every opera production at CSUN from 1992-1998, and he has been the musical director at Birmingham for the past 11 years directing everything from "Grease" in 2004 to "Beauty and the Beast" in 2014.
