The Arts
The Visual and Performing Arts Department at BCCHS all share the same belief and common vision:
To provide a wide variety of arts courses that offers students a rigorous standards-based curriculum that prepares them for postsecondary university, conservatory, and arts careers in the 21st Century.
A number of our Arts classes are part of CTE pathways, and provide students with Community College Credit.

Many offered courses are articulated with Pierce College, Valley College, and Glendale Community College for college credit with a “B” or higher. Most students are exposed to industry professionals in their field of interest through internships, competitions, festivals, and field trips.
